The Community Legal Centres Queensland Conference 2020 is taking place 30 to 1 May at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Brisbane.

The Community Legal Centres Queensland Conference 2020 is the premier event in any community legal centre calendar. Students have the opportunity to meet with a diverse range of people including centre directors, social workers, lawyers, volunteers and decision-makers.

The conference provides students with an opportunity to develop and strengthen they professional skills, increase their knowledge and network with people working in the field.

There will be a variety of presentations, panel discussions and workshops focusing on a broad range of issues relevant to community legal centre staff and volunteers, the wider legal and community sector. Topics this year range from running a Community Legal Centre, supporting people through to equipping frontline workers.

The conference will take place over two days and students can register for the full conference or just one day. Staff or volunteers who work at community legal centre can attend at a discounted price.
