Craig Foster

Craig is a former Socceroo and now a SBS broadcaster. He is a member of Australian Multicultural Council. In 2019, he was finalist to the Australian Human Rights Medal. 

Craig has lead the campaigns #SaveHakeem, for the release of football player Hakeem al-Araibi, and #Gameover, to free people held in offshore immigration detention centres in Nauru and Papua New Guinea. He has a Bachelor of Laws.

Councillor Jonnathan Sri, Brisbane City Council

Jonno is a Brisbane City Councillor for the Gabba Ward, which includes the suburb of West End where the RAILS office is located. Many of Councillor Sri's relatives left Sri Lanka as refugees due to the civil war. He is a fierce advocate for the rights of refugees and migrant workers, and prior to becoming and elected representative he worked with teenage asylum seekers in frontline settlement support services.

Jonathan supports direct action anti-racism campaigns for refugee rights, alongside his advocacy on local issues ranging from homelessness and housing affordability to sustainable transport planning.
