Matt Golinski is a professional chef with a love of cooking that began as a child and has only continued to grow over a lifetime spent in kitchens. His passion for knowing the provenance of the ingredients he uses and the people who grow them has defined him as a cook and is the driving force behind his creativity and unending enthusiasm for food. Well, known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants over his 35-year career.
Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Matt now enjoys working as a consulting chef to restaurants, being a regular guest chef at regional festivals and events and writing food articles for In Noosa and Hello Sunshine magazines. Matt lives with his wife and two young daughters on their property in the Noosa hinterland, where his focus has turned to learning about growing the food he loves to cook.

Our Sponsors

Do-Op Shop is a local op-shop with a big heart! We are proudly non-religious, inclusive, registered as a charity and deeply community driven. We repurpose donated goods, raising money that goes straight back into supporting local projects, from education initiatives to vital social services that make a real difference close to home.
Founded and led by women, Do-Op was built on a shared passion for sustainability, creativity, and the joy of discovering pre-loved treasures. We believe second-hand items deserve a second life, and that meaningful change can happen when people come together with purpose.
From the very beginning, our vision was simple: to create a community hub that values people over profit. A place where everyone feels welcome to ask for help, volunteers feel respected and inspired, and customers walk through the doors feeling seen, appreciated, and connected.
In four years, Do-Op has grown rapidly. This growth has allowed us to support other charities and individuals doing it tough, while continuing to champion reuse, conscious living, and creative expression. Along the way, we’ve proudly showcased our up-cycled fashion at the Brisbane Fashion Festival and launched creative workshops at our Annerley store, bringing people together through learning, creativity, and connection.
At Do-Op, everything comes back to one simple belief: doing good, together x
