Family violence and migration law

May is family violence prevention month in Queensland, and RAILS and Women’s Legal Service join forces to explore family violence in migration law. What are the laws, processes and evidence needed? How can the evidence be obtained?  What advice and support is there for clients who cannot access the family violence provisions?

Experienced lawyers Bunu Gautam and Jennifer McPhie discuss these issues and a new partnership between RAILS and WLS which seeks to enhance support for survivors of family violence.
