Other Immigration Question

We hope that our website was of help to you and that you were able to find answers to your
questions.

However, if you could not find what you needed, or you are still unsure, we suggest that you do
one of the following:

1) Look for information on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
This is the most comprehensive information source for Australian immigration and citizenship related matters.

2) If you live in Brisbane or near it you are welcome to attend our Evening Advice Sessions.
The sessions provide a ‘drop-in’ opportunity for people to make enquiries and obtain initial
advice and referral.

The EAS are staffed by volunteers with staff support.

Clients are seen on a first-come first-served basis, unless a priority booking has been made.  Priority will be determined by Staff Support.

We do not make appointments except where an interpreter needs to be booked.

The Evening Advice Sessions are held at RAILS at 170 Boundary Street, West End every Monday and Wednesday doors open at 5:30 pm and we take the first 8 people when we open the door.  Advice is provided between 6.00pm to 8.30pm.

Please ensure that you bring all the important documents relevant to your immigration case with you, to help our volunteers provide you with their advice.

3) We provide phone advice to regional Queensland only.  If you live outside Brisbane and cannot attend our Evening Advice Sessions, you can contact the Service on (07) 3846 3189 on Monday and Friday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm and talk to one of our staff members who will try and assist you with your immigration query. Should you not be given advice on the day you call, we will endeavour to provide advice to you on the following advice day.
